Out Of Sync Sound

it seems that the sound is out of sync with all the shows i download. does
anyone know what is wrong and how to cure it ?

what media player are you using?

have you had this problem before with previous downloads?

what are the particular shows that you are having problems with?

by saying all the shows, my best guess is that your media player is not up to
scratch. try vlc media player.

have you had a look at the newbie thread? this might be able to shed some
light on the problem.

i have been using both real player and windows media player. i have download
programs such as 3lb, traveler and others. i haven't downloaded other avi
files before so i haven't seen yhe problem. i have tried converting the files
to dvd and the problem shows on the dvd even when viewed on a tv. i will give
the suggested viewer a go. thanks for your help.

the codec's for those media players are probably not up to date. that's why
you're having the problem. it is possible to download the related codecs
(don't ask me, i'm not that good!! that part i leave to my hubby!!) but the
easiest solution is to download vlc. so far, we have found that it plays
anything we throw at it.

if the sound is still out of sync, press ctrl + k or l to offset the sound

media player classic for me. update your codecs too as mentioned in previous
posts.
