"Drive" Drove Off The Schedule... AGAIN

how are we supposed to see the last two ep's?
not that there'll be a dvd box set or anything, since they never finished the show. it had a promising
start, but that's the way it goes.

that really sux been waiting so long for this 2 episodes now they have to put it
off again. what is fox thinking sigh~

tell them exactly what you think of this. being nice and docile and asking
politely isn't cutting it, let them know you'll boycott fox if they don't shape up.

the following is an email i got from fox about this. don't bother trying to do
what it says unless you use the latest version of windows or mac osx though. i
replied to them requesting they release the eps via bittorrent so everyone can
watch them but don't hold your breath.

the final 2 episodes will not air on fox afterall - but we will make
them available online to view for free - check the site in a week or so

the tracker won't connect. i checked it out in my browser , the root server, and
got porn popups for my trouble.

if it's working for you that's great, but until i can see different myself i
have to call bullshit on those torrents.

seems they are all stuck on 49%, ep5+6 seems fishy.

they are indeed both legit. left them downloading all night, they finished this
morning, and i'm now seeding (in fact, everyone who's downloading looks to be
seeding when they finish). :d

edit - ep 5 is downloaded enough to play the beginning. quality is
pretty good, it looks like the same quality as the first 4 eps listed here which
were plenty good.

it converts easily from h264/aac to divx/mp3. the video at least should be
converted to divx or xvid before it's listed here officially if that's going to
happen. a wider range of viewers will be able to play it on their machines. when
i try to play the .m4v directly even vlc chokes on it somewhat, it'll play but
the video looks like it's playing from the other side of a full pitcher of beer.
mplayer won't even try believe it or not. after converting with ffmpeg it plays
in all my players without a hitch.
