how to connect to irc channel, what server and what channel to connect to?
since there is not mentioned in faq, forum does not have search, and google did
not throw in results. and there is not link connect to our i-r-c [if i write it
without - it say url removed omg!], so i might just
ask here right?

if you click on the globe, i think it takes you to the channel. but you have
to have an i r c client installed.

seamonkey comes with one built in, chatzilla. it's also available as an
extension for firefox, if you still use that bloated piece of leaky crap.
