wow there really is nothing to watch on tv right now  no bsg till next year,at least heroes coming up  as far as the statements about canceling sg and making shows like these.....for the last time sg cost too much money. shows like this one or painkiller jane are cheap to make because they pay crap money to the actors, and spend much less on special effects. of course the execs forget the saying you get what you pay for. they are basically hoping for a thrifty sleeper hit, instead of a risky venture. |

this is why so called "majority opinion" usually sucks :(:( really don't know what people expected of this show, some kind of 3d mongo adventure?? second ep was / is fairly good - there was some characters stupidity of course, but give the actors chance to interact as a team in a few next eps and if it's still bad, then bitch all you want!! by my humble opinion (and don't care if it's only mine here), it's still a lot better then eg the last sg-1 ep (frozen in time, then frozen again and frozen and...so lame)!! coming from the country caught almost until recently in a stupid balkan wars, somehow never did manage to fully appreciate the bsg concept - sorry, but to me it's like balkans in space!  :)anyways i'll give flash a little bit longer run, no matter what anybody thinks! been eager for a next ep...hope it comes soon! ave, marko |

hmmm...kind of like it... really... have been waiting a long time to have a series i can turn around and sleep without beeing anoyed. painkiller jane had a bit too much action in it for that and the main actor was way too sexy. ok, this series has almost nothing to do with the original, except that they really managed to dumb down the characters, which is quite an archievement. ming is something like a "light" here, because he seems more human than the original...but where is the logic in that ? bsg did something different, they transported the story more to "now" and it was not really difficult to be better than the original, because that did not even have to share the props and fx with buck rogers. for a sci-fi soap they are great and from story telling they are better than lost and from things that are airing right now, they are great. but.... from what sci-fi freaks are waiting for, we will have to wait. maybe george lucas will have some suprise for s again but this series...its not even worth a disc |

i just realized, that this is not the dc comic "the flash" how embarassing :d now i can definately stop watching this show :d |
