i'd also like to mention at this time, the lastest eztv website downing was not because of bt-chat. eztv is working on using different mirrors and such, and i guess they ran into some problems. they stopped using the database on our server for the time being, although our new ram upgrade has seemed to help considerably on the performance of the site. as was said above, all dontations to bt-chat go towards servers, upgrades etc. we should have a few more servers up shortly, which will help even further. thanks to everyone that supports us, all were trying to do is make things better for everyone  if anyone still has issues using our site and such, just letme know...or stop by at #bt-chat on efnet. |

a big stfu to all you ppl who bitch when someone asks questions about anything going on here. you all may like to sit around and see problems go unfixed, but some ppl actually want a great site to stay great. the reason ppl ask these questions is they see something wrong, and usually want to see if anyone else has noticed it. this is a great site, always has been, and its free but even a great free site will goto crap if things are broke. the fact that none of the btchat links worked was a big deal, hence alot of ppl asking about it, and why they didn't keep all the links with mininova. now aside from the morons spouting 'if you don't like it, don't come here', there were actually ppl willing to give a good answer, and one from the source it looks like. so now we know why there's links to btchat and why they don't work. some ppl need to be flamed, but not for asking legitimate questions. oh, and thanks for the info, gl in getting it all working =) |

oh no. it's all my fault because i told a group of friends this url as one of my absolute favorite places that i always hit at least once a day. now there's too much traffic and it's all my fault. <whimper> i'm sorrrrrrry....... (okay, so i'm funnin' there, what i really want to say is that i appreciate everything you all do, and when it doesn't work it's okay, and when it does work, it is mah-velous!) |

lately there has been some problems, (since we started to mirror things). and honestly, i have never tried to puzzle together such a big project like this before. there's alot to bear in mind when you tries to set up a site this big. i can understand your complains, and i appriciate all of it (seriously). makes me wanna work harder to satisfy you guys. oh, and santabj. they have rights to complain when we don't forfill our main service we are providing. :) just be patient. |
