ok ok calm down i get it, he is not going to run fast in this series. maybe when this series is cancelled (for lack of signature special move from the hero) the producers could make another incarnation of the superman franchise where our hero (clark kent) does nothing but work as a news reporter. that would rawk! |

i have to say i was disappointed with this one. ok. so the budget was limited, the casting somewhat misconceived and the story lines inevitably predictable. but at least they could've got the 'running fast' bit right. how difficult could that be? the clue's in the name: the flash - he runs fast hence: the flash. otherwise he'd be the daudle, the amble or the wander about a bit. so far i haven't seen so much as a quick stroll. i was hoping for a bit of a jog at least, a short sprint would've been acceptable. but nothing so far. not even a 'six million dollar man' slo-mo. if he doesn't get his act together pretty soon, and put on a burst of speed, preferably accompanied by a suitable vangelis soundtrack, i'm gonna stop watching. |

i just pray that the people going on about the flash are being ironic, i would hate to think anyone could be that stupid and live. as to all the bitching i think that relates to the poor quality of the show; if it was good the thread would be full of 'wow excellent ep' posts. with a show like this the only entertainment is tearing it to pieces. |

if you are expecting flash gordon to run at tremendous speeds you will have to wait your whole lifetime. he will never run at superspeed. flash gordon is an offshoot from the movie "flash gordon saviour of the universe". if you will watch that movie you'll identify the character in the series. to make it clear flash gordon is not the the flash (superhero). |

i have just finished watching this movie and i have to say that i find all the sexual references highly offensive. i am unable to identify with the main character as you suggested. he appears lude and infantile in his use of sexual innuendo. i did find the penisaurus vaguely reminiscent of something but can't for the life of me think what. having endured this movie, complete with all the giggling breasts, i continue to be disappointed at the complete absence of rapid perambulatory motion and await the sequel with reserved anticipation. |

as for the bitching, you\'ll find it on every show\'s forum, it doesn\'t matter what the show is, trolls do this sort of thing just for fun, that\'s why it\'s always a good point to ignore them. |

flash gordon - is able to run fast ... i was certain flash gordon and the flash are the same character.. i dont know why the producers change the heroes powers. |

no! aldoshroom, you are mistaken. the flash and flash gordon are not the same character. thay have totally different super powers. flash gordon is the one who runs fast. the flash is merely able to emit sudden and dazzling bursts of light whenever anyone tries to take a photograph. i'm glad we finally managed to get that one cleared up. confusion over. everyone go about their business. nothing to see here... |

truly a sad day for sci-fi it just goes to show that the tv big boy's have no idea what a good show is when flash gordon even gets past the screen test stage let alone past the 6th episode. |

lol, anyone over 25 will know who flash gordon is. awesome queen soundtrack.  flash, ahah, he'll save everyone of us. he's just an athlete, not a super hero, he doesn't have powers, never has, never will. created by alex raymond to compete with buck rogers. the main villain is 'ming the merciless'. if none of the characters are making sense to you it's probably because you're expecting the dc comics character 'the flash' whom has absolutely nothing what so ever to do with flash gordon. look them up on wikipedia. nothing to do with one another. |
