older shows that others may have not seen...

hey i know im new to the message board but ive been using this site for a long
ass time now and i wanted to make a post where peeps could showcase shows that
have ended but where really good and possibly unknown so here i am...

for my first post i wanna talk about a show from australia called: john safran
vs. god...

firstly this show has many funny moments but also does a really good job at
lookin and showing an unbiased opinion of many religions and their possitive
and negative aspects. he goes through many "road tests" of religions such as
the obscure (voodoo) to the mass culture (catholocism) and each one he gives a
fair chance to and try's to show in a light thats as i said unbiased and
simply allowing said religion to demonstrate its practices and beleifs. also
there is some seriously funny shit (sorry if swearin aint allowed i will edit
when notified) when he goes "undercover" attempting to join the kkk although
being of jewish birth. pushing the point to where he actually finds a loophole
allowing half jews to join the kkk. its great show with many unique moments
and i wish it where im larger syndication.

so thats my show for my first post. please feel free to share ur obscure shows
or comment on mine or n e others that people have posted.

that show sounds pretty cool. i'll have to check that out (i teach high
school--if i teach world geography again i'd love to have an entertaining source
to introduce the students to a new religion).

i'll try to come up with a good, little-known show. i was tempted to write
about freeks and geeks, but i'm guessing that everyone pretty much knows about
it now (too bad more didn't watch it the first time around).

shameless is a funny show from the uk. about a family who's poor living in the
projects. if you like lock stock and 2 smokin barrel youll love this one

ive just started dloadin a show from canada called "charlie jade" which so far
seems pretty good, bit like bstar g, but scripts arent as good.

also any old seasons of curb your enthusiasm are a must.

please keep suggestions of lesser known and more obscure enjoyable shows comin.
