unless you want to fly to england, and re-shoot the entire series with your own hd gear, your not going to get a 720p version... from memory the show (like many uk and au shows) is shot using 576p/i equipment. so it's widescreen digital, but it's not 'hd' digital, hence why it's labelled pdtv, and why just a tiny bit of bothering to look at a label, saves having a dumb request made twice. but i suppose it's fair enough, as really you us folk have no idea what pdtv or sdtv is, your tv industry is worth billions, even our best shows have to work off far smaller budgets. |

however, the polar special was hd  anyway, thanks for distributing this great show. what a shame to see only about 6 episodes per series, better than having 24 crappy epsiodes though. |

that was a one off deal, with a once only screening on a bbc hd channel, with the shows budget, and regular channel slot, it's unlikely that will happen again soon, and from what i hear not all of the special was actually shot in hd. |

i love both the cars and the presentator, the special polar edition is just incredible, two blokes in a hilux, and a hamster(lol) on skis with huskie dogs

reading your posts it's probably just me, but i only got the audio when i downloaded it:s i did download the full amount of mb's stated on the site but no video stream. anybody has an idea whats up? |

sounds like you don't have the correct codecs installed. google for k-lite codec pack, download and install. all should be ok then. |
