Collecting TV Shows

i was wondering if there was any person/place that you could request a hdd be
filled with different tv shows (fulls series/seasons, any type). i'm collecting
as many shows as i can, but of course net speed is a factor. obviously the cost
of the drive would be covered in some way or another.

i use to do that service, but i didnt charge for the tv shows per say, just the
discs and a buck a gig.

do you know of anyone else who still does it?

i have 145gb of tv on my hd right now, not to mention the books and books of
burned dvds with tv shows on them.

i must have some disease, i collect tv shows like playing cards 🙂 i must have
them all, even though i will never ever watch anything again lol.

i have an idea, i'm going to send you some dvdr's, and you can burn them for
me!! i'll even drive the 8+ hours to pick them up 😂

the reason i was asking about this was to get shows that are hard to get (older
shows, unseeded, etc). i already have:

law and order 1,3,4,5,9,10

so in other words, not any of those.

for older shows you would be better off going to tvtorrents. they have heaps
of older shows, and 9 times out of 10 have seeds. i get great speeds there too.

i too collect shows that i will probably never watch again. although i havent got as
much as some of you my collection is.. (as far as i can remember)

i might have more that i cant remember. i bought a 400gb external hdd just to hoard
all of these shows which after watching once i have no desire to watch again. i just
want to keep them :s

thanks for the suggestion, ill give tvtorrents a shot. i'd still prefer being
able to do drive to drive transfers, since its far faster. problem is i'm
getting a norco box soon and it'll be a pretty empty 5 tb if i can't find a
better way to get stuff.

i would be collecting shows, but my damn 500gb external hard drive crapped out
on me a month ago, taking all of it's contents with it. and then, when trying
to put in a 300gb internal hard drive into my pc my motherboard got fried, so
now i have to get and that and the processor fixed before using it. so now i am
stuck with my laptop, upon which i can get about 100gbs of shows before having
to start to delete stuff to make more room.

instead, i am a dvd hoarder. i collect dvd boxed sets like squirrels collect
nuts, mostly because i feel i should support the shows i download. my rule is,
if i download it, eventually i will buy it too. (which means i need to win the
lottery to pay for everything i have downloaded).

currently i only have about 60gb dled. i have had more, but i deleted stuff off
today to start making room for what is to come (full downloads of all btvs and
angel...never seen either before but would like to). over the last 10 months
since i started downloading, i have probably download and watched nearly a
terabyte full of shows. (and those are just the downloads...what i watch on my
tv and dvds makes my life seem even more pathetic).

sure, it would be easier to get your stuff directly from another harddisc but you have to find someone who
has more series then one you like anything else would be idiotic because you could d/l it in the time you
shipped your hd there and back. if there are some shows you can't get as d/l just..buy the dvd? helps
producing more quality tv 🙂

if there isn't a d/l and no dvd..then trading hds maybe a nice option..

putting aside this whole competition, my original question was similar to the
"trading hdds" idea. i had mentioned what i have to point out that although
torrents may be grand for a season or two, for hundreds of episodes and dozens
of seasons, it's a pain.

any ideas towards a trade would be great.

the other way => someone will send you an empty hdd and you fill it with stuff. but still, who would like
to send a hdd to a stranger? or, better: who, with a big ammount of files on his disk, would give out his
address to a stranger?

why do you need so much stuff at once? you can't watch that much. download what you wanna see and
your hdd fills itself. theres only one series i know where i would send a hdd and thats mystery science
theater 3000 because it has 120 gb and isn't seedet that good ☹️

can anyone help me?

ive been searching for an episode of third watch or ages and cant find it
anywhere. the episode was from season 3, and it was called unleashed i think
it was episode 19 or 20.
it was the crossover episode form er s8 e19 - brothers and sisters.

can anyone please help????
