How do you Label organize you shows?

personally i keep my files in nice order "show name - sxxexx - episode name
[important info].avi" what the hell do you guys do?

i label them by season/ep and episode name.

ja, pretty much the same. eg. "californication - 111 - turn the page"

showname sxxexx episode title.

problem with that is that my stand alone dvd player can only read joliet, so i
have to make sure that the showname and season and episode details are under 15
chars. pain in the bum 🙂

some shows i leave them as i download them (showname.sxxexx.xxtv.xvid-xxx) but
most of the time i save them in a separate folder for each show with the names
s.ep - ep title, (e.g, last thursday's episode of scrubs is "7.01 - my own
worst enemy" )

show.seasonep.source.codec-group just as the dir is when it pre's on the scene
with the exception of sticking in a ws tag if notv doesn't for dsr/pdtv

when i put them in a folder i only do 1 season for each show per folder, i often
label show.season.source.codec-multigrps
most stuff of mine is in the main download folder

i always think its important to always leave the group name in the file
especially when shows are ripped from multiple sources like eureka or kyle xy

again, as with the tv hoarders thread, i'm glad i'm not alone! all my friends
leave their shows with the names as they were released, and it drives me mad.
haven't got around to doing episode titles - that's more of a long term
goal 😉 - but my convention is:

show folder
season folder
showname - sxxexx

for specials i label them consecutively within the season, so if there was a
special that aired after s01e10 of a show but before s01e11, i'd label it
showname - s01e10 special "blah" (without the quote marks), so it appears in
the right order.

i delete them after watching.

lol, i should do the same, i never watch them again.
