perhaps a little off topic, but why do the strikers even bother picketting in front of buildings anyway?.seems more like a symbolic measure to show their frustration, but a little annoying at most to people passing by. but practically speaking, lossing millions of dollars in ad money daily, as well as potential new shows as the strike goes on seems like enough of a protest to the networks, they should all just take a vacation, or relax at home or someting, waiting when or if negotiations will take place. |

as is currently the case in australia with the new ir laws. in a nutshell, the workers are screwed over big time. |

prison break is one of the best shows out there bauer and has a great and unique plot too. i don't think it's very fair to call it repetitive. i have to agree with you as far as the simpsons is concerned thou, they should have stopped a long time ago. i'm really getting sick of the same old gags and oneliners the simply aren't funny. i have an easy solution thou, change the channel;-) lost is another great show that's being affected by all this. only 8 episodes finished and it's meant to air in 3 months. all and all i can't see how there can be any positives from the situation. |

it's very possible, though i doubt we'll see the exampled shows. what we'll see is shows for which scripts were written but were never aired or filmed. i imagine we might see the last two eps of drive for example (though we've seen it as a dl so maybe not) and i'm sure there's any number of other shows around that they never aired some written or even filmed episodes. unfortunately, the writers knew studio 60 was doomed and so they wrote it to a neat ending. there are no scripts left lying around just waiting for filming. |
