Component input TV Cap card?

hi everyone. i was just wondering if there was such a thing as a tv tuner/video
capture card that allowed component video input? or if there was a video input
block that allows component. right now, the only true hdtv i can get is through
my over-the-air hd receiver, which doesn't work because there's a huge forest
behind my house.

i can get hdtv through my cable box, but the only thing i have connecting to my
capture card right now is s-video. so i can't get the 1080i image. the cable box
allows component output, which would give me the image quality i want, but i
have yet to find a capture card that allows component input (or a video input
block). can someone point me in the right direction? i want to get something
worthwhile for my birthday.

component is still analog like s-video though
for doing digital 720p/1080i captures your best chance is capturing from the set
top box (digital hd cable box) via firewire

also over-the-air hd capture cards (pci connection) are great to and often
better picture quality then hd cable/satellite as long as you don't live out in
the middle of no where

alright, thanks, i'll try firewire. but if that doesn't work, i may still need
an answer to my component capture card question. even though it's still analog,
i get a pretty awesome picture of it on my tv.
