[HDTV] 720p How and which settings?

hi,
i love ur hdtv 720p releases but i wonder how u encode these files? which
programms are u using and which settings, cause around 1gb for about 40 minutes
is an very good filesize 🙂


anyone could help me? maybe anyone has a tutorial for me? :d

eztv doesn't encode them (the -group at the end of the file does)
but just to be specific, they are ~42min, 1100mb which is 1.07gb not 1gb which
some see as 1024mb (correct way), or 1000mb (wrong way, but common)
on average the video bitrate is around 3100kbps with ac3 audio

some hd lovers say that this size is to small and want 1.43gb but its just fine
for me

exact size didnt matter in this context 🙂


avg. bitrate of 3100kbps sounds very nice, i will test it thx! :d
