NextPage button (on main page) not working (just me?)

hello,

could i trouble you guys to find out if there is a general problem with the
functioning of the 'next page' action that should allow me to step to the next
page of search results (on the site's main page).

eg: i select heroes in the dropdown list and click search and the 1st page of
recent episodes appears. however, trying to get to the next-most-recent page of
episodes doesn't work.
the 'next page' link is pointing to
"http://www.eztv.it/index.php?main=main&page=1&sort=1" ; and merely returns me to
the starting state, as though i had not selected heroes at all.

i can manually go to http://www.eztv.it/index.php?main=main&page=2&sort=1
and then the 'next page' & 'prev page' links do step forward to pg3, pg4, etc...
and back correctly. just not with a selected show.

maybe it's just me (winxpprosp2, firefox 2.0.0.9) but even some advise on what
to troubleshoot would be appreciated.

ps also, prob not related, when writing this forum msg, i notice that the
preview function causes punctuation such as apostrophes to be replaced in the
msg editor by their escaped counter-parts. ' becomes \' and if i preview again
without tidying the \' becomes \\' and so on. all minor complaints but just pet
peeves with me for today. 🙂

all known issues.

the forum s/w is a hand coded minimalist effort, meant just as convenience for
the users, rather than the main reason for the site's existence.

things do get tweaked, but the guys generally have better things to be getting
on with at any given time 🙂

then how are we to find the older episodes of the shows if only one page will
display ?
