1080p

isn't releasing 1080i sources only upto 720p purely a bandwidth issue, would
the deinterlacing be any more noticable at 1080p, other being higher
resolution?. how do the 1080i, compared to 720p sources look, compared at any
current release size.

monitor,yes, and putting to dvd seems pointless for wathing episodes, unless
you invest in a good tv and an old box for a monitor.

i'm guessing thats your situation, but having as much detail as possible is
good, if you have the connection and resources, unlike some.

1080p is abit pricey, but mainly on the tv side.while not quet large, monitors
at 1080p are pretty cheap.and all the decoding stuff
can be done by getting the right tv tuner, better than relying on whatever your
tv has.

but one advantage to 1080i, in some cases you can inverse telecine the broadcast
to give you a full 1080p picture (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/inverse_telecine),but
not always perfectly.

and yes, for tv torrents 1080p may not be worth the dl, then again, probably
1/100 people dl the 720p versions.
