if you knew what i said then why are you saying what i said was so bad?, i only
asked a question and quoted what i thought and should be a reliable question.i

and if your not saying anything, and just speculating, then you obviously see
how the question was never really answered anyways.

the question was never really answered because it was none of our business to
ask in the first place. if the admins want to tell us, they will, otherwise
who cares? i'm just grateful that this site exists at all (and for many more
years to come hopefully) and that the people who graciously donate their time
to running it do so without profiting from it.

well, if they really didn't want to answer it fine, i just wish they could've
made that clear and not go so of topic .

and does it really make you feel better that there not profiting?, ohnestly.

unless you find a few banners or ads that annoying, desighning they're site for
capitalism really wouldn't make a difference, besides making them look so noble
i suppose, if thats whats important to you.

in fact, if i have to deal with a few banners or popups if it means the site is
faster and has better features because they can afford it, it wouldn't bother me
knowing theyre profitting every time i happen to visit.

yes, i honestly feel better that they don't make any money from the site. it
also simplifies things from a legal standpoint, as they aren't making any
money from distribution of legally 'grey' data it would make them much harder
to prosecute and shut down. (i assume, i'm not a solicitor)

well, i don't know about you, but i wouldn't mind if it became somewhat
commercial,atleast ad-based, if it meant relative improvement, even if it means
spam and/or dealing with the %1 chance authorities will catch on.

bullshit??, its a subsidary of amazon.com,a very reliable and popular online
store, and quoted frequently by various sources on its data of most popular
websites.the only thing i saw wrong was a small out of date piece of info.

look on another website, one that registers domain names, you can even look on
the website of the new owner for the domain. http://www.moniker.com

your sure that site has the right info?, is it as credible as alexa?.

i already independantly verified it on more than one site, do some research of
your own and i'm sure you'll concur. plus the fact that it has dates on it,
which should be the real givaway. why are you even still arguing about this?
