heroes took the #1 spot away from lost...

does that answer your question?

heroes has even knocked lost from my no 1 slot. it doesn't leave you waiting for
answers as long as lost does, but usually has a nice cliff hanger to keep you in
suspense until the next episode. it makes a week seem like forever!

prison break season one was good too (i only watched it all recently) but season
two is a bit weak and seems to have turned into the fugitive.

plus, lost is complete shit this season.

i wouldn't say lost is complete shit this season but heroes sure is giving it a
run for its money. although, in the acting department, lost is still superior.

tom kring and damon lindelof supposedly talked about joining the lost and heroes
universes...wouldn't that be something? i like heroes a lot, but lost season 1
was the ultimate shizniz! the beginning of s2 was damn good too, but after that
i started losing interest. jj abrahms thinks that its paramount to the success
of lost to keep the audience guessing rather than giving answers. but there is
only so long i can go without getting some answers...and the stuff they show now
doesn't really keep me 'that' interested. heroes on the other hand has been a
good balance so far. plus, its comic-book feel is hard to resist.

response from heroes creator tim kring hey! look at this! turns out we're
onto something, at least in a wishful-thinking sort of way. asked if heroes and
lost are in a secret alliance, kring says, ''well... damon and i did talk about
a lot of stuff. and unfortunately, we're on different networks, because
otherwise, a lot of those things would have been really, really fun to have
done.'' by ''stuff,'' do you mean you guys actually discussed the possibility of
mythologically linked shows? ''oh, yeah,'' says kring. ''we've talked a lot [in
general] about how two shows could dovetail. but again, we are limited by the
fact that we are on competing networks.'' but couldn't you guys conceivably do
this idea without ever technically acknowledging it in any formal way? ''that's
true. that's true,'' says kring with a laugh.

i\'m a huge fan of heroes. its till too early to say for sure, but its shaping
up to be one of my favorite shows ever. i really like the comic book feel of
it. the only problem is that with so many main characters involved, its hard to
advance all their plots in one episode. but thats the only problem i have with
it.

anyways, i\'m new to this board. so, i thought i\'d just chime in and say hello.

rant (forewarning):
i thought it was getting better...but they just pulled a u-turn with the
latest episode. "the case of stuck drawer"....what a dull episode, nothing
happened, how was the plot advanced in any meaningful way???
usual garbage about fate, destiny and god in the voiceover then quick
reference to evolution...as if they are related, just makes it harder and
harder to suspend disbelief and tests any resonable minded viewer's patience.
the chap who play mohinder couldnt act to save his life (he's not the only
one)...did you see his pathetic attempt at grief when approached by his mother
at his fathers funeral...painful to watch to say the least. don't get me
started on his newfound power...the ability to dream of things he could have
no apparent knowledge of (basically a mix of timetravel and prophectic powers
mixed)...bad guys shaking in their booties everywhere.
and another thing...why could petrelli junior complete that unfinished
painting a few eps ago? just able to borrow other peoples powers when its
convenient to him and to leapfrog the plot when they get mucked down??!!
i'm really not expecting much from future episodes...probably some canadian
will find out next week that he can call metal claws out of his fists on
demand and promptly decide to call himself "cougarine"....

maybe u should read that press release
anyway here is a quote from your link
"in adults 18-49, "heroes" ranked #6 out of all 102 telecasts last week. among
all entertainment programs, "heroes" ranked behind only "desperate housewives,"
"grey's anatomy," "csi" and "lost" in the key 18-49 demographic. among adults
18-34, only "grey's anatomy" and "desperate housewives" topped "heroes," among
non-sports programs."

btw deal or no deal beat prison break so who cares about ratings
