I've been having an issue with seeding torrents after I finish downloading them. I use Norton VPN and it works fine when it
comes to downloads. My port automatically opens when using the BitComet. I know uTorrent is recommended, but I'm old
school as I've been using torrents for 15 years and when I tried other clients, I couldn't get the port to open and I really don't
feel like doing it manually. If it already works fine with BitComet, it should work with other clients right? Anyway, that's not the
main issue as I like BitComet. So after I finish downloading a file and I want to let it seed, 90% of the time it won't seed and if it
does, it's not consistent. If I turn my VPN off, they will start seeding usually and I realized that you can be tracked just as much
seeding as downloading without a VPN running. I want to be able to seed as much as possible to keep my ratios good and I
believe proper seeding increases download speed? If anyone has any suggestions or knows what to do, it would be greatly
appreciated.
