Lack of good TV

so, due to the strike and the time of year i've been trying out some new shows.
so far:

big bang theory -- watched episode one, seemed kind of funny, but not worth
catching up on.

pushing daisies -- terrific show. i watched episodes 1 - 7 in a four day period.
it's now part of the regular rotation. the pilot may be the best thing ever
produced for american network tv--each episode is about half as good as the
pilot, and that still makes it one of the better shows on tv.

jericho -- watched 1 1/2 episodes. fell asleep during episode 2, found it to be
very cheesy.

frank tv -- watched two episodes. won't watch any more. they guy has talent,
but a five minute youtube clip is enough to get your fill of frank the impersonator.

i'm going to check out ugly betty and it's always sunny in philly next.


anyway, the real reason why i posted is that i'd also like to watch some of the
many very good movies that are coming out this time of year. any suggestions on
a good replacement for demonoid? a site that is large, secure and easy to search?

agreed. jericho = cheesy, but still somehow interesting. although, what happened
to it? anyway, pushing daisies is the best of the lot right now (even though
it's not particularly my style).

edit: a good torrent site? how 'bout a junk site? then, "mininova." definitely
mininova. after that... superfundo.org (if we're talking about movies, here).

ncis is one awesome show, just the character are so awesome together. chuck is
also good humor. big bang theory is a good laugh. helps if you're a bit nerdy 🙂
journeyman?

chuck is pretty good--not the best tv ever--but at least entertaining from
week-to-week and getting better over the season. i'm glad, because it is
everything bionic woman should have been and isn't. the thing to know about
chuck is that you can't take it seriously. it is to alias what season 1 of the
oc was to 90210--doesn't take itself seriously, gives you the best of the genre
it is making fun of, and makes twenty-something nerds seem kind of cool.

yeah, you can't take chuck seriously. as soon as you do you're gonna hate it.
but if you don't take it seriously you'll have one hell of a laugh 😛 =d
