picky people ;p lol i never even noticed this...i'll make sure it gets looked at.
also, we usually can't fix things if people don't report it on our own forum,
only because of the latest things going on have i been checking the eztv forum
for feedback. it would get more noticeable from other bt-chat staff on our own
forum to fix problems like these 🙂
still, thanks for reporting it. i'll post back here on what ends up being done
to fix it.
it might have been more wise to report a site bug like this to the site in
question, rather than on here, as none of the eztv moderators are bt-chat
coders, and as such can't do much about it.
right the flaw should now be fixed anyway. the reason the http get request
(the stuff in the url was there) was a hangover from the validation. this has
now been changed. the mysql error you saw has also been changed.
i would have posted this directly to the bt-chat forums, but i couldn't register my account because of the
problem, and wasn't sure if the forum had another account or not. i didn't have time to check (was in the
middle of something). also, i saw a lot of bt-chat news here too..
i'll be more careful next time and post anything important there, and if security issue, more privately, like
an email or through irc.
it's suppose to be harmless i guess. it's a trojan.clicker.cm
according to bitdefender, it's trojan that advertisers use to hack your popup
blocker or bypass it to display their ads on your computer.
although, i'm not sure if it stays on your computer if you clean your internet
files because it's like a cookie. however, everytime i've tried to disk
cleanup my antivirus program always blocked it from being moved until i
manually started my antivirus program so it could move the file during the
scan.
i haven't tried turning off my antivirus program and disk cleaning to see if
it automatically cleans it or not, but it's a pain in the ass nonetheless.
advertisers shouldn't be sending you trojans to get their ads seen.
basically what you're saying is that advertisers should have the power to change
preferences and settings on your computer without your permission?
so you're happy to fork out your hard earned money for computer hardware, yet you
don't mind if some corporation suddenly starts to install malware on your machine
to counteract legitimate s/ware used to stop their tactics, in fact you actually
welcome it?
it's idiots like you that voted for bush and support the riaa/mpaa. either grow up
and realise that your sort of attitude leads to a complete lack of consumer power
and police states, or just go and diaf.
i'd just like to know how the hell he would have been able to vote for bush?????
but as they say....assumptions are the mother of all f*** ups!!! don' assume
anything. they make an ass out of you and me. (ass-u-me)
