i just got told by my other half whose brother's mate's uncle works for telstra

you do not need to buy a *new next g * phone.. to upgrade from cdma
all you need is a phone that takes photos, and a $25 next g sim card
not believing, i pulled the sim o/o my prepaid next g and put into the kids
toy, an old digital samsung flip phone, and what do you know, i had nextg
service, you dont get the flash menus, but everything alse was the same
so then i tried in the son's prepaid sagem, worked even better
man , talk about the biggest scam ever,
this is the only forum i frequent, so i had to tell someone
the only benefit of the *upgrade* is keeping the number
