[Azureus] Problem RSSFeed scanner

hello everybody !
first of all, i'd like to apologize because english is for me a foreign
language, i study it at school but if i've done some mistakes, please be indulgent.
so, i have a issue. i've downloaded the plug-in called rssfeed scanner for
azureus. i have (i think so) configured it like i was supposed to do and in the
same time like we can see it in the rss tutorial.
the fact is when i create a filter to download a file, the file witch was
supposed to be downloaded isn't downloaded but i can see in status (refers to
rss fs) that in front of the file wanted, in column "matches", there is excl.
besides, this word figured on the file that i didn't want to download (set in my
filter "negative")

eventually, it seems that i can't download the files i want and i could suppose
there is an issue in my settings, as if the plug-ins did the opposite i'd like
it does (but not really because it doesn't download the files i don't want to
download).

so, if you know what i must to do to solve my issue, please answer.

the "excl" status simply means that the item in question has matched against a
fail rule somewhere in your rule chain *before* it has matched against a
pass filter.

so ... either you have something in your "negatives" or "exclusions" filter
(which should be first in your list if you did things like the tutorial
suggests) that is matching against the files you *do* want as well as those
you *don't* want, or the show filter itself has been set as a "fail" filter
instead of a "pass" filter.

perhaps because of the language issue it might be best to make some
screenshots of your setup so we can see what's happening clearly.

we need to see :-
1) you negatives/exlusions filter
2) an example show filter

hrmmm .... very, very weird.

your settings all look just fine to me - i can't see anything that is
obviously wrong.

i even re-created exclusion and show filters to your specifications to test ...
but it worked properly for me. most confusing :-/

ok - maybe not completely out of ideas 😉
as a test try disabling the exclusions filter and doing a feed refresh.
do you get *any* successful done entries at all ?

in fact, i have noticed that i can see excl when (and only when) the field that
refers to the tv show filter called "le fitre recherche le titre / filter
searches title" is active/validated.
when i disable filter exclusions (only) excl is still activated and no torrents
are downloaded.

i don't know. have you got an other idea ?

nope - sorry. i'm all out of constructive ideas.

all i can come up with is a vague "perhaps it's something to do with a
language localisation bug".

hum i don't know what is the matter... anyone has a other idea ?

well, if someone is still interested in my issue, i may have an idea. i have
never spoken about it because i did not consider it as a very issue.

so, when i start azureus, it gives me a message in a pop up called erreur (i
suppose error in english):

can't read 'plugin.properties' for plugin 'azupnpav': file may be missing.

so, is because of this issue that i can't use rssfeed scanner ?
must i solve it ? i have no problem using azureus except with the rss feeds.
if i must, could you tell me what i suppose to do ?

this seems to be the driver/plugin for upnp, universal plug and play, which
when used in conjunction with a upnp capable router will automatically take
care of your port forwarding

well, my firewall is set up as well as i can and concerning my ports, they are
open. azureus show me 2 green icon concerning rate and nat (ok). besides, i
haven't any problem to download or upload. i don't know what i must to do.

well, i don't understand very well what you said but i think they are jokes,
aren't they ?

at aydin1954 i've tried utorrent but it didn't work very well at home, it
crashed and made my computer out of connection. besides i don't want to lose my
ratio in azureus ...

concerning my issue about the pop-up, i've fixed it by deleting and reinstalling
the plugin called "azureus media serveur update" but i still have a problem with
my rssfeed scanner.

anyone has another idea ?

i think he is refering to what i vaguely remember from az, it records a total
gb the machine it is on has uploaded/downloaded . . . . . .

any ratio you have that counts, will be recorded by the website you are
worried about
