Looks like "LOST" is screwing the fans again!

this happened last year where they took about 4 midseason breaks and kept airing
lost specials. frankly 1 midseason break is enough, i dont care what you guys do
but im not watching it anymore until the season is finished. this is a perfect
example of hollyweird stroking a succesful or should i say "shaking down" for
all it's worth. this is a great way to alienate the fans, well im not going
through another year of this garbage and smart tvrs will do the same..just wait
until all the episodes have been aired otherwise your going to become very very
frustrated when this crap happens again in another 3 weeks. enough!!!

meanwhile "jericho" is turning out to be a nice replacement.

you know i worked my ass off all day yesterday(not complaining) but jesus i felt
like a f**kin stooge after making popcorn and settling in to watch the damn show
on regular tv. i couldnt believe it im waiting and all of a sudden it's not on.
that pissed me off bigtime and there not going to roll me again this season so
im just going to boycott the damn show and download the episodes here at the end
of the season.

i really like the concept of "jericho" and each episode seems to be better than
the last......lets just hope abc doesnt start the same crap with this show, if
they do im thinking about boycotting abc all together! this is not the way a
network should treat it's loyal viewers. i dont know what genius in there
marketing dept. came up with the idea but if he/she was in front of me right now
id kick them right in the face...

i'm sorry, but are you mentally deficient?

the way abc is airing both lost and jericho is the best way, other than one
complete block a la 24.

we get a bunch of episodes of each, then a sizeable break then they return with
the rest uninterrupted to the end of the season.

there are over 30 weeks to the season, but each show only has 22-24 episodes a
season. the networks need to somehow stretch them to fill the season.

if you don't like it, don't watch any tv as this is how it's always been. they
are just giving us less interruptions to the shows.

i agree 100% with xeryus post. the abc folks saw that people didn't like all the
reruns throughout the year, so they announced that they'd do one break this
season and air the rest of the episodes right after the other. i see no problem
with this.

lost is taking only 1 break this season, instead of the normal 3 or 4, for me
this is a much better way to do it, although 13 weeks is way to long, they
will then have 16 straight weeks to finish. lost will be back on feb 7th.

saying that i like it this way better, i'm from the uk, and we don't have
midseason breaks at all, so it's all a bit odd for me still. i am kinda
waiting to see what happens for us in the uk, lost season 3 starts this
weekend for us on sky one, so we may get the episodes before you guys, unless
we start midseason breaks for the first time.

joshy boy your a freakin jerkoff wanna know why? because instead of explaining the
situation you had to throw in the bs.....what exactly do you contribute towards

my concerns over shady tactics. im looking over tv.com right now and cant find
any show past/present that has a break after only 6 episodes for almost 3
months!?!? especially in lieu of the fact there's over 20+ this season. sorry

am not even going to bother watching the show anymore. the network is playing
games, and i gaurantee at least 3 or 4 so called lost "specials" so they can
collect advertising revenue this is even worse then what happened last year.

fairly certain you can make no such guarantees, you can believe very strongly, but short of being an abc
exec who commissions and airs such specials you can't guarantee it, its a petit point but your entire
rant and how you've replied to most of the people here just pissed me off

abc announced how they were going to air lost back in july, july, this is not new news.

sure i was irritated, but i got over it, they've said they'll air the remaining 15/16 eps unbroken, so none
of those repeats that pissed everyone off last year. so, knowing this for the many months before lost
started, i've not watched any of s3 and i'll start in the new year (personally don't mind how 24 airs so
that kind of effect is what i'm going for).

as for that whole unprecedented break argument, almost every new season on fox stopped for about a
month, family guy and american dad have had such interrupted runs that no one even knows which
season we're on anymore! yea, its a bit earlier than most of the other shows stop, prison break and its
3month break came mid-season, but you just get a longer unbroken stretch in the second half of lost,
no big deal

and how is someone arguing against your point flaming when you've come on, started in on lost, called
people wankers and railed about imaginary multiple breaks, all without first doing any research?!

and by the by, don't really give a fuck who you are, although saying how we dont know is quite amusing

lost airs six episodes, goes on hiatus and comes back for a full run. i'll
