DRM - Digital Rights Management query

would appreciate your views on this - cannot watch video clips now from the
internet unless i sign up for the microsoft upgrade

i haven't got vista - still on xp

wmp works fine for all my downloads except *.mp4

at the moment i cannot watch short videos direct on the internet

was wondering if anybody knew if signing up for this drm thingy - is it some
kind of spyware - i do use pg2 but dont think this will have any effect
