RSS For The Big Bang Theory

hi,

i've recently set up rss using azureus, most of the feeds are working fine but
i'm having a problem with 'the big bang theory'

i've consulted with the guides and have done everything it says but it still
won't fine the torrent.

the url for the feed is http://tvrss.net/feed/eztv/

and the filter is the.big.bang.theory

any ideas where it's going wrong.

yep - exactly as my esteemed colleague mr. aydin1954 said 😉

the point of rss feeds is that the client periodically visits and updates with
only new items, not the entire database each time, saving traffic load
on the site and removing the need to sit there hitting f5-refresh all day.

most feeds only send approx the 20 most recent updated entries - if the show
you are looking for didn't have an update in that span then there will be no
rss entry for it, and therefore nothing for the torrent client to try and
apply the match rule to.

cheers, i'm new to the whole rss thing, but your point makes sense, i've
downloaded the older episodes and i'm sure that the rss feed that i've set up
will automatically get the new ones.
