Azureus rss feed scanner help

after i set up the feeds and filters i want to use and then if i restart azureus
all the feeds and filters disappears leaving the entire rss feed scanner window
blank, please anyone know what i should do?

some more detail would be nice - os platform, and versions of azureus and rss
plugin for a start, but ... let's assume windows for now.

i suppose the obvious question is - are you *sure* you hit the save button on
each feed and filter item before you navigated away from it ?

assuming the answer is yes then i suppose next question is - are you *sure*
you have correct permissions on the location the feed & filter data is written
to with your current user account ?

this will be `%installdir%\\plugins\\rssfeed` [e.g. `c:\\program
files\\azureus\\plugins\\rssfeed`] rather than where most other configs
go, `%appdata%\\azureus` [e.g. xp : `c:\\documents and
settings\\yourusername\\application data\\azureus` or vista : `
c:\\users\\yourusername\\appdata\\roaming`]

the permissions part is usually more of an issue in vista than xp, but since
you don't tell us the platform ... 😉

sorry the "guest" didn't consider your time & knowledge worthy of a response
better than "never mind - i fixed my problem & nobody, let alone the person who
tried to help me, need know what was screwed up."

god forbid someone else find themselves in the same fix.
but i do thank you for your response, and will try to remember thread 9783 when
it comes time for me to leave the "old school."
