well, i came up with a way to get episode 11. since i do live in canada, i could just watch it. but. i decided i should get this ep out to the tv-torrenting public. using a video capture tool, i snapped the episode and am encoding it now. i'm going to try and torrent it if i can. it's not the best quality, but it's watchable. after all it's essentially a screen capture of the streamable one. as well, since i am on a mac, i can't encode it into the typical avi format. i'm going with an unprotected mpeg-4 which should be doable on all computers. i'll let you know when it's up. |

hey what's up everyone, someone uploaded the episode 11 rip from the cbc website on mininova, go download it from there. since it's a web rip, it's no where near the quality of the regular uploads plus it's in flv format, but still watchable at full screen. |

okay, i tried to upload it as a torrent, but after several attempts, it failed every time (both here and mininova) i have created a direct download. the format is mpeg-4 (.m4v) so it should run on just about any computer. the quality isn't the best, but it is a screen capture of the episode directly from the flash- based streamable one available from the cbc.ca website. so non canadians can get a chance to watch it. update: well, after multiple attempts, the site refuses to allow me to upload the file (fails after 25mb which probably means it has an upload cap for filesizes. sorry, but at the moment, i am out of options. |

looking for a something different i saw jpod on the list. upon reading some of this thread i decided to download this show and fell in love with yet another unfinished series. damn! we just watched 12 shows back to back, loved the quirkiness and characters. it tried the weeds thing a little imo but managed to keep the characters original and for the shows style the characters were believable enough despite being put into surreal situations. no spoiler, download and enjoy. |

i found a "proper" over at mininova. http://www.mininova.org/tor/1280432 ![]() it is flv format, so obviously ripped from the cbc site. no idea as to the quality as its still downloading, but good for those of us outside of canada to catch up. |

actually, i came here wondering the same thing. first cbc canceled the show. then they aired the remaining episodes out of order. it seems apparent they don't give a crap about jpod or its viewers. so my first thought when i didn't see a new episode posted this week was that maybe cbc just decided to go ahead and pull the plug altogether rather than try to fix their screwup. i know eztv has nothing to do with that, but it occurred to me to check the messages to see if any people who follow the happenings inside cbc more closely than i do might have posted something about the status of the show. there is information like that earlier in this thread. instead i find an admin responding much more defensively than the question warranted. i don't see where anybody was criticizing you. and still the question remains unanswered. admin : and it will... please check the rules. especially nr. 2. thanks. and there is a request and inquiry sticky in the main forum to be used... |

i think its the case of who knows. when i joined here i realised the amount of traffic that stops by and sometimes posts questions about what some middle range production companies plans are in the next year or two, like? make your questions obvious to the general community, as it would be easy to inevitably include those with no such interests to do such research. if it comes out its will be on here is about as much as one should expect from eztv. it appears the even the production company and broadcaster in question has not a frigging clue as to what the fuck is going on so in my lack of arrogance i decide to ask people in general. anyone! wtf is going on? |

considering the apparent attitude of the admins here, i'll probably be banned after this, but here goes:
i read number 2, and i don't see where anybody was demanding or whining about an episode. somebody simply asked a question about the show's status. apparently more than one of us were curious about that. i don't see any criticism of you. i don't see any demands being made. just a question. the same question i had. again, you've responded way more defensively than the question warranted. yes, i've seen the posts from the whiny little punks who demand episodes and think that you're somehow beholden to them. this wasn't one of those posts. you jumped to the wrong conclusion. most of us truly appreciate what you do for us, as evidenced by the ridiculous number of "thanks!" posts for each episode. but if you hate us so badly that you automatically assume we're all whiny bitches, then maybe you should stop and find another hobby that doesn't raise your blood pressure. we would be sad, of course, but it isn't worth making yourself miserable over. admin : we do not ban people for politely disagreeing with us. but is up to us to interpret and apply the rules. as we say often our site our rules. it is not a hobby but a passion and almost a job. and we are not going to retire as of yet. |

does anyone know when episode 11 will air? the version you can get from mininova or pirate bay is a webrip and therefore pretty poor quality. |

a webrip of episode 13 is up on mininova now for all who are interested. hopefully a real cap will surface at some point, but at least this is better than nothing. also, caliman, if you go to cbc.ca/jpod and look at the episode guide, it has a list of all the songs played in each episode. |
