Based on the book series of the same name by Liz Braswell, the series follows Chloe King (Skyler Samuels) as she is about to celebrate her birthday. When she begins to develop heightened abilities, she is followed by a mystery stranger. Chloe soon finds out she is part of an ancient race called the Mai, that has been hunted down by assassins. With cat-like powers, she takes on the role of "Uniter" as she tries to bring together the Mai and the humans. With 9 lives to stay alive, Chloe disovers more clues on her missing father.
