i do apologise.......... some people just got my goat. upscaling is a nuke ? cwikey then people better just accept what they are given. 10/10 for originality because obviously switching to sd in hd got the desired result on behalf of the programmes producers. playing with technology. and once again apoligies for spoiling. thought the whole plot had been spoiled by the first 5 or 6 mins and people couldnt watch the rest. please tell me if i'm sarcastic and apart from one thing did i give it away. ?? aw shucks, watch up & shut up. did you complain when jaws went 3d ? i did. stop complaining guys. |

don't know why .. but in a very strange way, i find the hybrid woman quite attractive else too. maybe the tone of her voice, when she speaks the most important part. that moment truly gave me chills. great show |

it doesn't matter what the scene rules say. since aaf did an internal release, it can't be nuked. it's something like unnoficial release ;p they could have upscaled it but they din't. anyway, it doesn't really matter. two more days patience for skyone's broadcast. i've learned that it's a superb episode and i don't want to watch it pixeled. i watched season3 on dsr and to be honest, i din't enjoyd it. |

d/l on the weekend down in oz and you say it not good quality then you expect to much for free. yes the first part was as it was but i took it as a special effect and enjoyed the episode with out complaint. so don't complain about something for free (get over it) are you going to keep this for ever on your (cd) oops old stuff dvd or your blue ray media, it doesn't last as long as they say anyway. i backup to dvd and would be surprised if i got less than 5% fail in a few years nobody even the manufactures have tested or that long yet. lol they all say their media lasts x years but it doesn't. so watch it and forget then reminisce regards to the uploader thx from the land of ozi. w australia |

i downloaded it and i couldn't see anything wrong with it at all. i don't know what you people are whinging and bitching about. you should be greatful that someone out there makes these available to you to download. if you watch it live and you get a glitch do you ring the broadcasting company and complain? i bet you don't. get a life! mulder |

no, you're understanding me correctly. dvd is 480i, which just isn't a great resolution these days, especially on a 1080p screen; even with upconversion. that being said, i find most 350 rips to be perfectly acceptable even when upscaled to 1080p. hence all my arguing for the quality of this particular rip, because as i've said (and others have said), there's really no problem with it. as for skyone hd rips, for the most part they're not as enjoyable to me because it seems like in the conversion process, either from ntsc to pal, or the reverse, or something else, the audio (and framerate) is sped up to about 102% of the us broadcast -- i watched the entire first season on skyone rips, and had to actually decrease the playback speed to get the voices to sound normal. either way, i've got the 350mb rip, and the 1.1gb rip, and i'm sure i'll check out the skyone rip when it becomes available... and eventually i'll delete the files when season 4 comes out on dvd. and then when they come out on bluray i'll probably repeat the process. only for shows i love! |
