since it's j.j. abrams, i imagine the pilot and the first 5-8 episodes will be
genius, and then the rest of the series will be complete and utter crap on a
stick. just like lost. just like alias.
here's to ca. 7 good episodes of a new show!

everything but the lousy german - "dies is mein erste flug" - was fantastic. kinda like in german series
where they have mexicans saying "grathias", when this pronunciation only occurs in european spanish.

production is fine, video and sound fine.
however, it fails to seem even remotely believable. lost and x-files worked
because the were set in a believable world, whereas fringe isn\'t. hopefully,
they can fix that before airing it.
an example: the fbi agent trying to figure things out submit herself to a (mad)
scientist she just met, and allow him to pump her full of lsd (which he makes
himself) and whatnot while locking her in a water tank is just preposterous!!
i don\'t have a problem with the supernatural/sci-fi aspect, just make the world
believable!

x-files for the younger generation - seems oddly similar to it and also another
sci-fi show called psi-factor.
ah well i dotn mind - aslong as its good- this episode was mediocre at best.

actually the same kind of visual effects where used in somewhere recently dont

production quality is nice but there are few decent moments in the show. it's
very cliche and an all around stupid show, but it may find an audience.
