because someone reported it on mininova. who knows though, i've seen people say bad audio and it works fine for me. probably just have crappy codecs or something? |

just downlaod and see for yourself if it has bad audio. im watching episode using windows media player. i also few codecs. vlc. k-lite codec pack. also got divx player. |

audio is horrible. it's pushed past maximum, so it clips horribly, is distorted, and has no dynamic range at all. background music/sound overrides speech so it isn't even understandable. |

^^don\'t know why people do this... i checked the video/audio and it was clear and crisp.. also in sync too. but in the end you just have to see for yourself. |

audio is far from fine. major distortion and noise hiss. sounds like it was captured through line in on a cheap-o sound card. |

like i said before to keep us from not watching it. to keep us people that still likes the show from not seeing it. or it could be bad codecs probably. |

i just watched it with wmp [i only have the k-lite codec pack] and it was perfect. no audio or video problems at all. |

audio is ok but it does 'pop' on loud sounds. using vlc player. watchable tho

just downloaded the 720p version to compare it to this version and they are like night and day. the 720p has nice, crisp audio, which this version sorely lacks. |

the audio is bad in the beginning, but it gets better. just ignore the crackin in the beginning of the episode and you'll be fine... |

that's cause we already downloaded this and have already watched it, i confirm it as having distorted audio, but picture is perfect... any high sounds get distorted the low sounds are ok (low frequency's) all in all good copy and decent ep |

it isn\'t as much a codec problem as it is your hardware. like previously stated the audio tops out aka clipping. played through my divx player, on my computer speakers it sounds horrible with tons of crackling. but on the upstairs system which is the same model divx player, hooked through a reciever it plays just fine. it also sounds fine on my computer through those same computer speakers. that is why some people have no problem and some do, it all depends on how your hardware handles the audio clipping. some software might be able to compensate as well, but i will leave that to people who know.  so the audio is bad, but it might play back fine for you. chance are if you haven\'t had this problem with some of the past smallville episodes, then you can play this one with no problems as well. |

ya i'd agree with that. i just watched the whole episode and vid/aud were fine after the first couple minutes.. perfectly watchable in my book. btw, lois lane is lookin' mighty fine. |
