awful episode, but ok, it's smallville, not beckett's godot about audio; audio is in sync and with no noticeable cracks...at least on my hardware. for all non-english speakers who wait for subtitles: go for it, episode is ok. |

my audio was perfect in wmp. i have to agree with the weak plot comment though... they had a lot of time to work on this and i am truly underwhelmed at what the premiere offered up. i won't spoil it, but what green arrow said in reference to the new luthorcorp female was full on lazy writing and completely unsupported by the weak delivery of the character. |

the audio does crack, it's annoying if you wear headphones like i do. i don't understand why this got released. i know groups are pushing to be the first to release an ep, but if it isn't up to par then why make yourselves look bad? this is an obvious nuke if you watch 20 seconds of it from the beginning. either they didn't bother to even open the avi after encoding it, or said screw it and upped it anyway. the scene makes no f'ing sense. |

smallville.s08e01.odyssey.proper.hdtv.xvid-fqm is out..reason for proper: dot's release has clipping audio and bad crop on the sides. check their own sample for a example. |

ok, so there i was, watching the avi on wmp. audio 3/10, video 7/10, just barely watchable. then i saw these comments about vlc, downloaded that, now its a 7/10, v 9/10. perfect for a 350mb file. i would say dot has optimized his rip for vlc, and not wmp, which i understand has some pretty draconian requirements. bottom line, play it on vlc, not wmp. torrent is fine under those circumstances. but yes, on wmp, its a nuke. |

audio is really bad in stereo, bearable in mono. however it's annoying to swap the 5.1 to mono just to get bearable audio. scratch that, it's still irritating in mono and that is with using vlc. |

the people that say the audio is fine are probably the same people that think a 128kbs mp3 is good quality, some people just have no idea. |

the audio isnt distorted, its just way to high level which in poor sound cards & audio equipment with low headroom, will clip & distort. as for the video make up your own mind. as for the people who wish to comment on the script & screenplay quality, keep it to yourselfs please. if i wanted to know, i would watch spoilers and lookup eps info. |
