very sad day indeed. sure there are alternatives, none the less the bittorrent community took a great hit. as mininova's gone the number of seeds to a specific torrent greatly decreases as seeders are now scattered to different trackers. and less people are using bittorrent as a whole. i tested the same file after mininova's down, and speed is down by a great deal. |

another p2p chapter closes. i remember such days w/ sharereactor and supernova etc. on a related note, bt-chat.com has been down awhile. have they gone away for good? so... , am i gonna have to go back to news groups? i always search for stuff on torrentz these days instead of going straight to mininova anyway so this won't really affect me much. but it is still awfully bloody sad. |

i dl'd all shows from mininova. it was reliable and fast. i'm gonna miss it.

if i couln't get what i wanted here on eztv i.e. downloading shows i missed or there was a bad link or rying to get old shows, mininova was always my port of call as well as for the occasional bit of music...but there will always be another site... |

i'm as sad today as i was when the suprnova went down... like stated earlier though... can't wait for "micronova" or something of the sorts... or maybe just head back to the suprnova though rumors were spread that it was a trap... time to proxy up and update my pg2...

honesly i dont know whats going on what happend i thought people can still put torrents on there im confused why is shutting down and how come you cant find anything on the site anymore? |

i loved mininova, it was a great place to find good movies and music. like the proverb say, "another one bites the dust" but i wish it would have been someone else.. i wonder what will happen to the internet with every single website who offer contents or ideas will be close.. you have my thanks for the great service you gave me over the time! |

this is a ******** travesty **** the ******* with a ****** and ***** them in the ozarks. mininova had the worst ******** censor filter ******* ever ***** created, btw. hey we can remember it fondly tho..  mind you, going to /user/eztv was a shock to see it gone... barstards!! |
