ME ME ME ME ME!!!!!

this is a thread dedicated to me, god.

i bet 99% of active forum users here hate me. that's fine, believe me.. if i
cared, the feeling would be mutual. but you're too insignificant for me to
care so bitch all you want, no one's listening.

but to that 1% minority.. the relevant, credible, sexy, awesome, knowledgeable
ones.. to the 1% elite.. you probably appreciate my responses because that's
exactly what you think too but just can't or care not to articulate in words.

so peep this.. my top pet peeves in no particular order.

(1) people who are impatient. "where's the new lost?" "where's my damn
smallville ep?" this statement will apply to a lot of my other pet peeves.
it's free stuff, so you really have zero credibility when you complain. so
just stfu and/or die.

(2) people who complain. "why the hell is that prison break out of
sync?" "where's the proper already?" again, my above response applies.
especially the stfu and/or die part.

(3) people who show zero effort and just ask stuff that can easily be
googled. "when does heroes air?" "what song was at the ending of that last
scrubs episode?" google it. be glad that i'm not an admin. people who ask
that in channel, get automatic shitlist. obviously if it's just once they're
warned. i'm not that cruel.

(4) people who thank the eztv staff. "thanks from greece!!!" "thank you eztv
from bolivia!!" admittedly i'm too picky on this one.. but i just find those
words hollow and disingenuous. if you're truly thankful, seed or respond
financially. saying thanks is just clogging up valuable space and page load
time.

there's more but that's it for now. i'm probably gonna get a barrage of hate
replies but it's all good. it amuses me and embarrasses you.

worship me for the loyal few.

i've never claimed to be god or satan. i can't control what others have
elevated me to =)

that being said, tvfan's response is a good one. others should take care to
heed it.

if people aren't going to complain about free shit, demand better rips, ask
stupid questions or say thank you from made up places, no one will have anything
left to say.

hehe true. and i say.. what's wrong with that? =p

and i thought god was more interested in uploading souls than downloading
torrents, guess i was wrong. wonder what kind of broadband speed he gets? and
what size tv does he have?

now despite a small objection to tone, i have to agree a bit with the user "god".

however, this quote about no one having anything else to say is a falsity. if
you give fodder, all you will get back is fodder, generally speaking.
intelligent conversation can lead to intelligent replies, though i do not doubt
someone will always throw something stupid in, its a moron...ummm moral
imperative for some.

but saying there isn't anything else worth talking about is a sad reflection;
only those who wish to say something more can change that. it's up to the readers
to respond in kind. doesn't always happen but i do have hope.

quakercat was being humorously sarcastic hehe. it's all good.

i'm a little disappointed though.. i've had more fans than haters. come on

yeah you are probably right, but its good to give kudos to intelligent
conversation somewhere :laughs:

but i think any 'haters' reply will be void of said intelligence 😉

i used to think it was because computers are so 'open box insert user' these
days but now i am of the mind its the price we pay for technology. working as a
tech support rep for an isp i've found that even supposed 'experts' are twits.

i cannot begin to tell you how many 'computer experts' have called me who can't
find the 'any' key, who order dialup service (yes we still have dialup
customers) but don't have a home phone (blinks several times) or who buy new
computers get them up and running then call me to and say they can't figure out
how to install their os.

then there was the lady who worked for eastman as a, get this, computer analyst,
who kept turning off her home pc tower every time i told her to click on the
start button (rolls her eyes and throws her hands up to the user "god) :giggles:

hey god, does smallville air today? what time do you think it will be up? i hope
it's in sync, i can't stop singing the theme song, do you know what its called?

me too, back in
the days of 5.25" floppy disks.

it was also around the same era i received a fat, padded, envelope from a
customer. each disk of a set of floppies within had been carefully separated
with a layer of thick card ... "so that the disks wouldn't get bent in
transit", according to the nice note inside.

unfortunately he had also double stapled each disk to the respective card.

it's strange the way thought processes short c1rcuit sometimes .... 🙂



oh - and to keep vaguely on topic ...

god - i don't believe you exist, therefore this thread is imaginary, and i
shall shortly disappear in a puff of logic.

:giggles: nope, but i did have a lady who couldnt figure out why she couldn't
get on line, this is after her husband superglued her phone cord into the modem
:laughs: she said she got it out and cleaned it with alcohol, put it back in and
no shopping. (come to find out her husband was an otr trucker and gone a lot,
she spent her time and his money shopping on the internet..lol)

i had to put her on hold cause i had to bust out laughing. normally my very
understanding boss would frown on such but he was working on the phone system
and testing my phone out so he heard the entire conversation and joined in when
i put her on hold.

we get it, you're a guy who nicknamed himself god and likes to be rude, big
deal. you're not special, i only read the first couple lines of your post and
realized you're a guy who needs attention. who cares. and if you truly don't
give a shit like you say you do, you won't bother responding, but if you do
we'll all know you're a phony who cares what everyone thinks. your bluff has
