noobishness is one thing but this is a dude who i assume is supposed to know better. how are you gonna complain about people saying thanks, because you think it wastes b/w and increases loadtimes and then make a superficial post like this which is doing exactly what you are complaining about (wasting time and bandwidth) so i think we can cross out #4. |

finally!! a true hater. appreciate the flame cletus. for a minute there, i thought everyone was putting on pretenses and just sucking up to me heh. and i'm not being sarcastic at all. i encourage ppl to hate on me. it makes me feel superior =p oh btw cletus.. you didn't happen to reside on the old dalnet days did you? i knew someone that went by cletus but not sure if it's same person. and if you are who i'm thinking of.. we used to be good buddies =p |

nobody ever said i hate you, we might agree on a million other things, just not this thing. often times who we are on the internet doesn't define who we are in person or "real life", and maybe just maybe against my better judgement you are a cool person. i just think what you've done on this thread and on many people's threads to be sophomoric and/or rude. it isn't extremely original and really just typical of what hundreds of thousands of other people on the internet act like. which doesn't make it right. we have all lost patience with noobs at times. nevertheless it is your right to represent yourself however you want. and it's all more easy for you to do since you are anonymous and don't feel any responsibility for what you say to people. fortunately for you by the time you would be red-faced over what you say now, it will be years later, an affliction suffered by many. |

::laughs:: ain't that the truth. nothing like trying to get a person to read instructions; we provided help pages so detailed we even included screen shots for practically every os known to man, and of course still got twitalicious calls. i even had a guy who called just about every week for the same damn problem, one i might add we weren't supposed to help with, and he would record the calls. finally one day i got three consecutive calls on the same thing starting at midnight ending at 2pm when i practically shouted at him to listen to his damned tapes and told him not to call back unless he had a real problem!  i got yelled at from the boss for that, but not too loud, he and everyone else was relieved when he stopped calling in so much for problems we weren't even supposed to handle. |

well i'm glad i've dodged the bullet up to this point =p i guess i just get frustrated with everything i mentioned in my first post on this thread.. all those pet peeves. while i know that it's not my place to worry about that since i'm not an admin or anything.. it still irritates me to no end. i have an addiction >.< |

should've included the context from the 2nd quote there. that was in response to another post. so while you can put the 1st and 2nd quote side by side and it seemingly contradict each other, the context is left out and there's the inherent flaw =p that being said, yes people will still violate my pet peeves. i guess my efforts might be fruitless but i still have a glimmer of hope that people would wise up and refrain from annoying me. |

i'd say you pretty much explained it very clearly aydin =) it has elements of my (2) pet peeve.. which is people who complain. i guess your pet peeve goes more specific.. not just limited to people who complain but incompetent people who complain. i hear that loud and clear man. so let's revise your pet peeve a little. (5) people who know jack shit about the scene, encoding, capping, releasing stuff, etc. people who think they know shit just because they know what "pre" or "nuke" or "proper" means. these people again have zero credibility when they disparage groups. only if you're in the scene do you have even a remote basis to criticize. otherwise, bend over and receive my holy phallus. =p |
