yes and no. the few times that i have got on, there is not a lot of general chatter going on. i think most people are in private chats, so it would be hard (in them) to exact discipline, as you say. but then on the other hand, in the general chat, it would be very easy. |

agreed. eliminate the plethora of "thank you from ..." posts. and admittedly the useless banter that occurs too (i'm guilty of engaging in said banter) and also eliminates any digression from the topic. |

i also agree. i would therefore remove the section in the forum page also. with no discussion about the ep there, there is no real need to enter it from the forums page, only the front page, where the torrent is available, and possibly even on the show's main page. |

ever reside in those channels where people just have to post the pre time first before anyone else? i guess the ones who said "thanks from ______, first post!!" on these forums are cut from the same mold. either way... what a douche. |

as if the "thank you from ..." posts in the individual release threads aren't enough.. a thread dedicated to that now?! well i guess it's at least a step forward. concentrating it on one post is better than mass thanking on several. but.. the problem has not been solved. let the admins iron out a solution i say. i trust they have a better understanding of what needs to be done. |

we're referring to very specific forms of expressing appreciation though. it's these specific kinds that are unnecessary. it just gets to the point where it's not very genuine anymore and just very fake and ego driven. |
