if you're looking for one in australia, i can very strongly recommend the current pioneer models. i have a 490v and my father has the model before that one. they both play divx perfectly, never had a problem. will play from r and rw discs, and from multiple sessions recorded on one disc. the only thing i haven't tried is hr files, as my tv is in dire need of an upgrade. it also has a bundle of other great non-divx related features. you should be able to get it for less than a$150 (i've seen it for $135 in jb hifi). and no, i don't work for pioneer, i just love their dvd players (but not their dvd recorders). |
