omg this show is rubbish alright. story line, main actor this is just bad. was
hoping for better. this is so disappointing. hope this goes down fast dont waste
money on this kind of production. and hdtv for this omg leave the hd for bsg nt
this kind of show!

ok i read each review above so i went into it with expectations in the toilet.
also, im a fan of science fiction and had an open mind.

verdict: its just awful.

im not sure where to begin but it is so low budget, filled with poor acting, and
a thin storyline. this is a half-assed attempt at flash gordon. cut bait.

this shows delivers what i expected.
i mean... it is flash gordon. so well, yer it is badly acted, crap fx, cheap
jokes ... this might get the award of the worst sci-fi show.
and guess what, we love it!
well at least i do. i can't wait to see more episodes of this terrible show.

it's not even campy, it's just bad. yeah, it did entertain me. but i guess i'm
easy to entertain. really, portals? back and forth to earth? what's this, a
stargate spinoff? the reason flash gordon (the comic and old series) was good
was that mongo was very rich and detailed as a setting; there was no messing
around with earth anywhere except the stupid cartoon. i'd believe the show can
be saved, if the portal machine gets permanently broken, and everybody is
stranded in mongo. but even then my hopes wouldn't go too high.

that said, i'm a sucker and i'll probably watch it up to episode 7. because
that's when the stuff i really like will come back, and until then i have
nothing else to make my weekends less boring. (that is, assuming people bother
to cap and torrent it at all.)

so i downloaded and watched the first episode. it the flash gordon story, you
should have seen the original with buster crabbe (yes i am that old). now dont
get up me but it is only the first epsiode and i think it may get better and
they seem to have a storyline anyway, i will keep watching to see how this show
grows. but that is my personal opinion only.

i agree. i too liked the first episode and i think that the show will just get
bether. but i must say, i have never seen such hate towards a new show as it is
for this one. makes mw wonder if thats the reason why episode 2 is still nowhere
to be found.
sure, this is not as good as the other versions (exept the one from 1952 where
flash was a space fbi agent from the future) but its good enoth to watch and i
se potensial.

guess many are eager (or maybe not?) to see further eps, but seems i\'m the
only one asking - is there something we need to know, like the show was
experimental only or what?? :(

regarding dsr vs hdtv difference - didn't eztv usually had both formats, at
least until now?? would like to see at least a few further eps before deciding
its final fate...

any feedback will be greatly appreciated,

agreed marko - does anyone know why the second ep has failed to appear? i too
feel that this show has some potential - it'll never be great, but it's too
early to give up on it.
and hey - groups keep on upping painbringer jane, so surely they haven't any
quality control in respect to popularity of shows!
if anyone knows why ep 2 hasn't appeared yet (did it not air? hard to determine
from the other side of the world!), please let us know.

it did air. im on the scifi channel forum everyday.
its supose to be much bether then the pilot. i have been looking for it on the
hour every hour every day since friday. i live in sweden so its the only way...
