o dear stargate hasn't been cancelled its just changed its name as the sci fi channel own sg1 due to tieing mgm up in a contract with the sg1 name. expect stargate universe (ie sg1 with a new cast and a name change' but same format with a eight digit stargate address. ) . mgm is free to sell stargate universe to any american network they choose. fire fly is a fox tv product sci fi channel has no controll over that now. farscape did return but no one payed for the dvds so it stayed dead. bsg has had the end planned from the beginning acording to the interviews on tv and at fan events with the producers. the only thing that this possably could have killed is pkj or the dresden files. |

well, this did kill "the dresden files" i'm pretty sure of that - thats just my personal opinion though, it'll probably be pretty hard to find someone who would actually admit something like that. also i did not see anybody complaining that this peace of crap was the cause for firefly or farscape being canceled... which is pretty much impossible anyway. i'm guessing ppl just don't like this show and wish scifi would actually pick up something good for a change. pkj and now this fg fiasco are both just crap nothing more. i, too would love to see farscape or firefly coming back (not that it is going to happen but "a man can dream") thats probably why people continue to mention shows they like... i for one understand that. |

oh and another thing.. afaik scifi 'just' paid for the first 22 episodes they did not pick up a second season so far. so my guess would be this show will die just like pkj did. |

weell, seems it's getting better...only not to kill the show after the first season cliffhanger, like they (almost) did with more than decent jericho!  (now i start to catch what is wrong with the show - it's flash lite. i mean, how many of you were actually simpatethic with ming when he elaborated at the end of ep 2 how his execution saved many lives for the price of only one?? and how many of you would choose naging dale over waaay hot aura, who is btw future empress of the universe?? seeing also female bounty hunter, seems like i should travel to mongo for a decent, self confident mate...  )even the amazons seems somehow lite - could have walked a few rounds in bikinies or something, but i think castration simply isn't cool, huh guys?! what f****** feminist has written this scene, anyways?? it seems scifi don't invest enough money and even effort in their newest projects - painkiller jane had the same problem and the l chick miss loken did the rest to something that could have been excellent show!! ((somehow never found her truly sexy, not even as tx - has to do something with wrong pheromones or her attitude in general, i guess...hope flash won't suffer the same fate! regards to all, marko |

if sci-fi wants to do an adaption y dont make it more like the original or nt y dont come up with new innovative ideas of shows rather than remake old ones or make adaptions from comics. omg come up with something more original! look at firefly it was a darn gd sci-fi show just too bad it was aired at the wrong station. considering how much ads they get they should be able to hired proper writers to come up with more creative and innovative shows. |

totally agree.. the best part is that the huge assistant or 'floaty guy' is a dude on a covered segway.. lol! oh well, at least i can focus on eureka now.. good show? |

this show is so bad it's just awesome, episode 2 was the best so far with the caveman and his laser whip, but this ep did have even worse acting and some awesome karate-chop action (30:12). |
