the things is, if this show had something extra to it -- like maybe vampires or zombies or whatever -- i'd consider taking a look. but by the sound of it its just another generic cops & robbers show ... recycled stuff thats been done a zillion times before. studio execs turn this stuff out like toilet paper. yawn. check out dexter if you want something edgy and different. |

we may have to agree to disagree but i think that i may have discovered the cause of your pain. aaron pedersen is an indigenous australian - one of the people that you chaps used to take potshots at back in the 1800's. his accent may cause the uninitiated observer to think that there is some a problem with the dialogue but for mine, it is quite refreshing. personally i don't think that is should be rated any worse than that iconic pommy show the bill. |

the second episode has maintained the quality and suspense from the first episode. an excellent story with great rivalry and disdain between the homicide and armed robbery sections highlighted. well worth a watch. |

agreed - ep 2 was bloody good. hopefully it'll turn up online for any non- aussies that are interested. btw - i don't think aaron pederson's accent was very aboriginal - just 'strine. if you don't like it, i'd advise not visiting here, because plenty of the locals speak similarly. one of the best things about pederson's casting is that no mention is made of his race - he's just another guy, unlike in the past where indigenous characters seem to have been obliged to constantly proclaim their race (and, by inference: wasn't it wonderful that one had become a cop?). or, worse, when whites were cast in aboriginal roles (daddo, anyone?), and therefore wandered around with didge's under their arms all the time, just so we knew what they were supposed to be! a step in the right direction, methinks. |

i actually enjoyed the first 3 eps of this and will continue to watch as long as people seed it. it's certainly not edgy or all that unique, like blood in the wire (which is an excellent series btw), but it's interesting to see things from an australian perspective. i agree with sidchromeau that it was great pederson's aboriginal background wasn't made an issue. i just wish the same could be said about the female characters. such stereotypical crap imho. |

i'm from australia and i have to turn to the net for good tv viewing, in general aussie made shows are a load of rubbish and and we only get the biggest name u.s. shows (normally months behind the u.s.) |

i know this is old. but, seeds are still showing. could someone possibly add another tracker to the season 1 shows. i consistently get timeouts trying to connect to the istole.it trackers. all i can figure is that it's something to do with the high port number used but i haven't yet been able to solve the problem. i'd like to be able to get the first few episodes to see if it will be worth taking down the remainder and starting into series 2. thank you all. admin : please consult the help thread. thanks. |

this is a pretty good ausiie cop show......has good pedigree of actors from shane bourne to nadine garner..... my concern is that here on eztv it says the 1st double ep 101-102 has 99 seeds and 48 peers.........utorrent offends this notion with a more accurate 0(2) seeds playing with 16(23) peers.............so its gonna take 2 days to download.... |
