so this thread is for pure entertainment value, or even just to vent! seeing

i think that dexter will have to be the next show i watch. i have heard such
rave reviews about it. i d/l s01 already. i'll probably get to start watching
it early next week.

and now i'm going to ask a stupid newbie question, just because i can.
can anyone explain to me how the us seasons work? is fall the main season?
it just seems strange to me, 'cause in aus, our main season starts around
feb/march, i guess, and runs till maybe october. there are no mid season
breaks or anything. and before i get shot down in flames, yes, i have tried
googling for the answer, but just couldn't find anything that could
satisfactorily answer me.
