i still pop in twice a day, but yeah, a bit otherwise occupied of late, with the missus not working
nights anymore and working 11-12 hours days myself now, am a little bit absent, i haven't been in
#eztv for more than a few minutes a week in the last 5 months :/
i've been soooooooooooo friggin busy lately, lots going on all at once.

pps! since i think it's post script, so it would be post post script? or yeah. i

off some half remembered thought i probably read somewhere that wasn't accurate to begin with.
but anyway. i have come to commiserate. commiserate. comm... iser... ate... weird word. i've come
to bitch and whine. there, much better!
so yeah, virtually all of the u.s. is joining the data transfer cap club. (apparently verizon is the
only
major company not implementing them yet.) i just got a notice from my isp today with final numbers
and what not, to start may 2nd. i is the sads. 150gb, which could be worse, but will most certainly be
lowered in the future. and then only set that high due to being an existing customer, supposedly new
customers will receive much, much smaller values based on area(some of the market tests they did in
nevada apparently as low as 2gb... like... what the fuck at&t? do they think people are still using
9600
baud modems?). but yeah. not happy even just as a precedent.
bugger
well, i hope they eventually fall in line with our model, where some companies (telstra) never
change, while the others compete by randomly reducing costs and/or increasing caps
eg, i started on $119 1500/256 capped at 20/40 20 peak 40 off peak - peak 10am-2am off peak 2am-10am
which, by the time i changed speed plan(my choice) had been bumped to 25/45 @ $109
random cap bumps happened along the way
most recently was on $160 8/.374 45/85 (plan no longer available)
so went with 8/.374 100/100 $99 adjusted to $89 200/200 when combined with landline phone account
(25/m + calls $4-5)
i know its more $ than yours, but the adjustments hopefully happen the same direction for your plans
