the episode was a bit over, if i might say so. i am not offended by the
characters being gay or bisexual, but this episode definitely was kind of
filled to the brim with homosexuality; kind of forced. to each belongs their
opinion - but if you are leaving this show because there was too much gay
theme to this episode then you are being a fool... and this is coming from a
straight man.

i bought season 1 on dvd and was hooked to it by the end of the first episode
and was in love with it by the end of the first season... (haven't ever seen
dr. who so was a fresh one for me) maybe my expectations were a bit too high,
but the first episode of season 2 was definitely a let-down - but still
enjoyable.

however... the cut-scenes at the end of the upcoming episode got me thrilled
all over again!

umm, have you actually watched the earlier stuff?, it was subtly implied he was
involved with at least two of the previous women he travelled with, most people
think 3 at least before rose.

and we have one of those mythical self hating gays in this thread, we must be
real special to attract one of those...

i just got around to watching this episode last night, and i liked it but did
not think much of the rip, i'm not sure there is anything wrong with it, but
sound and pic seems overly compressed, i will be searching out the 700mb rips
for the rest of the season, like i have for last years series.

so please eztv, hr rips for the rest of the season?.

i was talking about proven romantic relationships. before rose, it was
considered sort of taboo.

the only i time i recall jack's sexuality ever being discussed was by the
females (in a very sort scene)
when they were trying to decipher if he was gay or not. it was a very natural
development (we do that).
jack is just a very lascivious sexual being, who is turned on by any attractive
humans (or other species,
apparently) regardless of distinctions such as sex.

he isn't marching in intergalactic pride parades or proclaiming "i am bi!"
it's just (a part of) who he is.

valid point you got there. i totally agree. it's like, when i was watching
dexter and he kept hooking up

is being pushed, it's not portrayed as the norm, even in the show. it's treated
as if it's something different - emphasized and obvious - as when wotserface
went lesbo for a bit thanks to some alien tech., ohh myy.. current normal
standards wont accept me, i best not like it.. blah blah blah..

blokes and chicks getting it on, is ignored. so what youre saying is bollocks.

holy shit, who fucking cares, you go watch "gay lovers unite and burn the
misconceptions and misunderstandings of current society" on dvd for all i
fucking care, youre a tit.

wow. so much discussion on the gay aspect and no one mentioning what a cheap
rip-off this show is of the joss whedon stuff. yeap, they even got spike.which
was the only funny/watchable part. i don't care who he makes out with, it's
always good fun! but the suspenders? mal reynolds called, he wants them back.
