god, you are right (as usual!!). i didn't make myself clear enough. yes, asking for series lengths, etc, is a waste of time, and can very easily be searched for. i'd even go as far as to say, if you have to ask, you shouldn't even be here!!! however, i was actually referring to slightly more complex questions. eg. one of the servers were down, and i have been waiting patiently for it to come back online (not posting and busting people's chops!!!). aydin kindly answered (someone elses question of the same) by suggesting to add other trackers to the list. before this, i didn't know you could alter the tracker list. relatively simple problem, with a simple answer. and now next time the persistent problem occurs, i'll know what to do. aydin, i did find the thread just the other day, and have had a look. it is a great start. even though i am not a complete newbie, there is still alot to learn!! i aspire to get to god's great level of knowledge one day!!! |

spoiler is mention of anything about the episode in question. so if i said "i'm pretty sure they'll be on the show next season", that is a spoiler in its own right. you're implying many things and that may spoil it for the people watching it. now there's a difference between my definition of spoiling and what the admins here consider as spoiling. for a statement like that, the admins might not delete the post or flag it. then again they might.. who knows. but for an avid fan of a show, anything as trivial as the aforementioned example will have a spoiling effect on the person. doesn't matter if you think otherwise or if you think it's a little excessively anal. just don't even mention or talk about the show if you can help it. it's much appreciated. |

looks like god's got no one to talk to but himself.... or maybe no one's listening (cept me..yes god i do see the irony in my responding about how no one else is responding......) p.s the shows you like are mind numbingly bad....just a thought |

i've noticed this trend. people who try to verbally spar with me end up getting severely owned. case in point. conversation from yesterday on some channel. nicks are altered to preserve anonymity. i'm too lazy to be creative so i'll just use user, user2, user3. user: hey any1 have heroes final? send me, thanx. god: go fuck yourself, thanx! user1: type !list and look through fileservers user: why god so mean. you go fuck. god: i count to 10, if you don't amuse me.. you're getting booted. user: i want heroes.. send me? god: 8.. 7.. user: i thot you were supposed to be good and nice god: me? you don't know me at all do you ^_^ user2: god? nice? as if! user: i have read bible in boarding school god: this is just a nick.. you know i'm not really god right user: i see your name is god.. and god is supposed to be forgive and nice god: since i already said i'm not really god.. i'll take another approach and humor you. that's classic generalizing at its worst. user: i don't understand god: while god is forgiving and nice.. he is also just and has delivered punishment where he saw fit. user: old testament.. i know this. pls sned heroes final now. god: if you don't form a sentence worthy of me reading.. you're gone. user: sned heroes user: sned heroes (this was typed another 10 or so times.. and while i may seem like an ass most of the time.. i have a high tolerance for stupidity when i want to. at that time, i shitlisted him lol) user2: that was fun.. more god more! =p god: hehe, i was bored.. that was a fun distraction. user3: hehe.. god sned me heroes now!! god: lol. anyway, rest is just other users commenting. thought this might be interesting for some of you hehe. and relax, this wasn't in eztv.. again, i'm not an admin =p |

not bad not bad, i always said that god and the devil weren't so different after all  although i would have shitlisted him after the first 2 sentences, i have very low tolerance to stupidity

sorry about my last post. i guess i used those brackets that the forum recognizes as tags or something. hopefully you get the gist of the conversation heh. i reformatted it to get rid of those brackets and use : instead. |
